Tech test of LARTE Design Materials
LARTE Design tested several samples for resistance to the impact of gravel on the paintwork in the laboratory of the largest Technopark "Zhigulevskaya valley". This is a regular procedure that allows us to meet the highest European standards. And it is worth saying that we are the only Russian Studio that has a tüv certificate from an independent certification body in Germany.
The aim of this test is to test the resistance of the paintwork to gravel. In fact, it is an imitation of flying stones from under the wheels of the car in front. For objectivity of tests we chose six types of material on two copies: basalt, carbon, composite samples from two types of resin, Polypropylene PP (material from which regular bumpers are made), ABS plastic.
Project history
Tests was made in 2 stages: at angles of" fire " gravel 45 and 90 degrees. All samples, except carbon, are prepared for coloring by identical methods-it is uniform approach in a choice of materials for a first coat and coloring. As well as the drying process. Carbon samples are varnished and coated with a special primer. The most resistant to gravel were samples of carbon, basalt and polypropylene, all other samples prepared and painted in the production of Larte demonstrated high resistance to mechanical stress.
