LARGENDA: pink and black, laid into the dry carbon

There is a moment in every LARGENDA project when the colour stops being a finish and starts being the material itself. For this Lamborghini Urus SE, that moment came early, and the entire car was built around it.

The decision was to put pink and black on the same car without one cancelling the other, and without either of them sitting on top of the surface as paint normally does. The painted body kit for Lamborghini Urus SE would split along the centerline — pink on the left, black on the right, the transition running as a gradient down the middle of the hood, across the roof, and down the centre of the rear deck. The dry carbon exterior would carry the same logic forward, with side components matching their side and symmetrical components taking the gradient inside the weave.

Colour that lives inside the material
That second part is where the build became unusual. Producing a gradient inside dry carbon is not a coating decision. The colour is laid into the part during layup, before the autoclave, and once the part is cured under heat and pressure the gradient is part of the carbon itself. There is no clear coat sitting over a print, no wrap hiding the structure underneath, no paint that will weather differently than the body it sits next to. The pink-to-black transition on the hood, on the front bumper architecture with splitter, on the rear diffuser and on the roof spoiler is in the material. It will outlast the bodywork.

The LARTE Design forged wheels were the last decision and the one that closed the silhouette. Solid black would have anchored the car too low. Solid pink would have repeated the body without adding anything. The wheels were designed in-house and finished to carry the gradient logic down to the floor — the place where, on most cars, the conversation about colour usually ends.

The kit is the structure. What changes from one build to another is what gets decided about it — which components, in which finish, in which colour direction, with which logic running through them.
