I just wanted it to look perfect every single day

My name is Daniel. I live in the U.S. and run several businesses — from car washes to retail stores. Cars have always been a part of my lifestyle. I’ve done light tuning before: carbon here, a lowered suspension there. But this was my first big project.

My daily driver is a BMW X5M Competition F95, and I wanted it to look powerful — but not overdone. I went for a matte carbon finish, which works beautifully with the car’s glossy green exterior. I had some concerns about installation — I’ve had bad experiences before with parts that didn’t hold up. But Olya from LARTE sent over detailed guidance on adhesive, tape, and all mounting points. I even asked the shop to use extra sealant just in case.

In the end, it went perfectly. The kit doesn’t feel like an add-on — it feels like the way the BMW X5M Competition F95 should’ve looked from the factory.

Was it expensive? Yes. But now I see why. Handcrafted carbon, premium materials — it’s not mass-market stuff. It’s an investment. Honestly, if you guys sent out small carbon samples to future buyers, it would probably make their decision much easier.

Now, every time I look at my car, I’m glad I went for it. And once the new M5 comes out — I know exactly where I’m going.
