Not just another X6
Not just another X6
My BMW X6 G06 is the 60i — not the M Competition. But I didn’t care. What I wanted wasn’t a badge. It was a character. When I first came across LARTE Design on Instagram, I wasn’t actively looking. I was just scrolling, saw a photo of a tuned X6, and something about the BMW X6 G06 body kit caught my eye. The hood. The stance. The way the diffuser framed the rear — it just looked complete. Like the car had found its voice.
That’s when I realized: I had always dreamed of a car that would genuinely reflect my style and personality. The LARTE kit gave me that. After installation, my X6 looked tougher, meaner, and more defined than the stock version. The hood especially, with those sculpted air intakes, gives the car real attitude.
Where I live, X6s are everywhere — especially in the wealthier neighborhoods west of Cleveland. And most of them look the same. But I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. I wanted to look at my car and feel that rush. That sense of: this is mine. And it had to be done right.

Was I hesitant? Absolutely.
The cost was more than I planned. And ordering from overseas — during global shipping delays — wasn’t exactly comforting. I considered going with something local, but nothing had that same mix of elegance and aggression.
I kept coming back to the BMW X6 G06 tuning projects I saw on LARTE’s page. Then I started watching their videos. Seeing real builds, close-ups of the details, and that hood in motion — it sealed it for me. But still, it took me two months to finally commit.
And that’s where personal manager Sasha made the difference. From the first message, Sasha was incredible. She didn’t just answer questions — she anticipated them. She sent me dozens of photos, real videos from other installs, and always followed up. And that’s what got me over the edge.
It was never about the price. It was about feeling confident that I was doing the right thing with a serious investment. Sasha gave me that confidence. I honestly believe if it weren’t for her, I would’ve talked myself out of it.

Delivery, installation & the only hiccup

The kit arrived four months later — beautifully packed. Each carbon element was wrapped, secured in wood, clearly labeled. You could tell right away: this wasn’t mass-produced. This was a custom body kit made with care.
I had the install done at my dealership by their lead tech — a close friend of mine. Fitment? Perfect. But the installation instructions? That’s where I hit a bump.
There weren’t many. No hardware included. The tech figured it out, but had to call your team about the mirror caps. A few more diagrams and pre-packed screws would’ve made a huge difference. It’s not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning.
Especially for someone who doesn’t have access to a professional install team.

I didn’t go for the full carbon hood — I chose the painted version, and the match was flawless. I didn’t touch the sound system. Didn’t change the wheels. I didn’t need to. The kit alone transformed the car.
My favorite part is the rear diffuser. It gives the whole car a wider, grounded presence without being over the top. And of course — the hood. That sculpted line, the air vents, the look from the front — it gives the car attitude. Even if the vents aren’t functional, they look like they mean business.
I thought about adding the rear emblem. Didn’t get it — now I kind of wish I had.
The car gets attention — sure. But again, I didn’t do it for that. I did it for me. For that feeling when I walk up to it on a Saturday, get in, and just drive. And I know there’s nothing quite like it on the road here.

Final thoughts
Final thoughts
Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I do it again? Without question.
Would I change anything? Maybe just the install process — a little more support for the techs doing the job.
But overall? This kit gave my car its identity. A BMW X6 that’s sharper, more defined, and unlike anything else on my block.
