I wanted a car that looks equally good on the road and on camera

My name is Leon, I live in Germany. I’m an entrepreneur working in the digital industry, and for me a car is more than just transportation. It has become part of my lifestyle — and part of the content we create every day.

I chose this BMW X6M LCI in blue because of its character. The car already looks powerful and modern, but I wanted to make it slightly more expressive. Not aggressive for the sake of attention, but more precise and architectural.

I had been following LARTE Design projects for quite some time. What I like about their approach is that the styling doesn’t fight the car — it enhances its original form. The BMW X6M already has a very strong visual identity, and it was important for me to preserve that DNA.

My project was handled by manager Elisabeth. We discussed several configurations and eventually decided on a carbon body kit for the BMW X6M LCI, but without replacing the hood and without changing the wheels.

I wanted the main visual focus to be on the carbon elements themselves.

The car received:

– carbon front splitter

– carbon elements for the front bumper

– carbon body accents

– carbon side elements

– carbon rear diffuser

The combination of the blue body color and exposed carbon turned out to be perfect.

Production and installation were faster than I expected and completely straightforward. Every element matched the factory body lines perfectly — no gaps, no modifications required. Once the car was finished, I immediately felt that this was exactly the result I had imagined. The BMW X6M now looks wider, lower, and significantly more confident.

The car now works perfectly not only in everyday life but also in content creation. On photos and videos the carbon surfaces look incredibly expressive — the body lines are much more defined.

But the best reaction came from my kids. They absolutely fell in love with the car. Now every time we go somewhere they ask if we can shoot a few photos or videos — for them it feels almost like filming a movie.

Today my BMW X6M LCI looks exactly the way I wanted it to: powerful, premium, and individual.

It’s not a show car and not over-the-top tuning.

It simply feels like the right version of the X6M — the kind of limited edition BMW itself could have produced.

And the best part is that the car makes not only me happy, but my whole family.

For me, that’s the best possible result of a project like this.
