From the very beginning, it was conceived as a project — a vehicle designed to attract attention instantly, stay in memory, and create an emotional response at first glance.
There was a clear reason for this approach: preparation for Auto Shanghai 2024. In such a context, the mindset changes completely. It is not about meeting expectations, but about shaping them. The car had to look bold, confident, and modern, while remaining a recognizable G-Class with a strong character.

I was already familiar with LARTE Design dealers in Shanghai. This was a partner project, and from the start we worked as a single team. From an ownership perspective, LARTE Design stood out as a brand capable of executing a full-scale Mercedes-AMG G 63 body kit project at an international level. Their experience with exhibition builds and attention to concept integrity made the choice obvious.
We immediately decided to move toward an unconventional color solution. That is how the gradient wrap was born: clean white at the front, gradually transitioning into a cool blue at the rear. This transition emphasizes movement and direction. On the stand, the car literally pulled people in.
