A legacy on wheels — with a bold twist
A legacy on wheels — with a bold twist
My name’s Samir. I live in Canada, run my own business, and share a lifelong bond with Mercedes-Benz. I drive an SL 63 myself, but the Mercedes GLE Coupe C167 belongs to my father. He’s 79 — still active, still behind the wheel every day.
At first, the car felt fine. Comfortable, practical, elegant. But it was also… bland. I couldn’t help thinking: This could look so much better. Still, I hesitated.
Would tuning make sense for someone his age? Would a custom body kit for GLE Coupe C167 AMG feel out of place? I didn’t want to make the car flashy — I wanted it to feel sharp, current, and personal.
My father wasn’t convinced, but he trusted me. And now? He loves the result — especially since he keeps getting so many WOW emotions from friends and colleagues.

Choosing balance over excess
Choosing balance over excess
We kept it clean and deliberate. No hood. No spoiler. I felt that would be too much — maybe even tacky. We focused on just two elements: the front splitter and the rear diffuser from the Mercedes GLE Coupe C167 carbon body kit.
They were enough to completely shift the car’s image. I also wrapped it in a deep, luxurious violet — just enough flair without compromising class.
Gloss black was an option, sure — but too common. Carbon fiber brought something else: depth, texture, and a level of exclusivity that made the Mercedes GLE Coupe C167 styling feel thoughtful, not generic.
This was never about showing off. It was about giving the car — and its driver — a stronger identity. Now it feels right. It feels designed.

Buying with confidence, despite the wait
Buying with confidence, despite the wait
I found LARTE Design online. The gallery looked legit, and the audience size reassured me I wasn’t walking into some random drop-shipping trap.
Still, ordering from abroad wasn’t easy. The shipping to Canada was expensive, and I knew I’d have to wait 6–8 weeks. That’s a long time when you’ve already visualized the final look.
But it was worth it. The body kits for Mercedes GLS AMG 63 X167 (and GLE) looked solid, and the packaging blew me away — carbon pieces individually wrapped and delivered in a wooden crate. That told me everything I needed to know about the quality.

Working with Olga made the process smooth. She was attentive, honest, and walked me through every detail. I only wish there was an option to add PPF protection right away — it would’ve saved me an extra step post-installation.
That said, I’d absolutely recommend LARTE. And if you ever release a kit for the GT Black Series — you’ll hear from me again.
