When my friends heard the price, they called me crazy. But now they can't stop admiring my car

I’m David from Romania, and I run two gas stations. Cars have always been my passion, especially ones that stand out. Last year, I drove a BMW X6 and considered getting a LARTE Design tuning kit, but unfortunately, I couldn't because my car lacked the M-package. When I bought my new Mercedes GLE Coupe 53 last December, I knew right away—this car was definitely getting a custom body kit from LARTE Design.

The first time I heard about LARTE Design was from Dorian Popa—he has the same car and is very popular here in Romania. Seeing how incredible his Mercedes GLE Coupe looked convinced me immediately. Honestly, once I fall in love with something, there's no turning back. It's like love at first sight. You don't meet a stunning girl and then wonder if there's someone better—you do everything possible to win her attention.

I bought my Mercedes on December 5th and ordered the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe body kit on January 18th. I chose gloss black painted parts—not only because they were more affordable, but because the appearance matters more to me than the material. What truly impressed me were the rear details—they transform the car's appearance significantly. I skipped the hood and grille initially because my GLE Coupe already looked perfect there.

I must admit, there was a delay. Initially, the team promised the Mercedes GLE Coupe styling would be ready in 5-6 weeks, but it took almost three times longer. It was a bit frustrating, but the final look of my car made up for it completely. I even insured the kit along with my car before installation.

Now, whenever other Mercedes GLE Coupe owners see my car, their reaction is always, “Wow, that looks amazing!” Even my girlfriend, who initially said I was crazy spending €12,000 on tuning—especially when in Romania that’s enough to buy an almost new car—has stopped arguing. Now she just takes my Mercedes GLE Coupe without even asking.
