When Confidence in the Result Matters

My name is Michael, I’m from Germany. This Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 Facelift is not the first car I’ve customized together with LARTE Design. And honestly, that fact alone says more than any words could.

I’m someone who pays attention to every detail in a car. Proportions, materials, panel gaps, the way surfaces feel to the touch. I know what proper craftsmanship should look like, and I’m demanding when it comes to quality. That’s why every decision I make is based not only on emotion, but on experience.

Before this car, I owned a previous-generation Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, which I purchased already equipped with a LARTE Design body kit. That experience set a clear benchmark for me. I understood what kind of result I expect and which team I want to work with going forward.

The new GLS 63 Facelift was ordered in black from the start. It’s a powerful, highly technical and very confident vehicle. I didn’t want to change the color — black fits the character of the model perfectly. Still, in stock form, it lacks individuality. Especially when you’re used to personalized solutions and know how much more this car can express.

As I mentioned, I’ve known LARTE Design for a long time. I’ve worked with them before and understand how they approach materials, form, and execution. For me, this is essential. I’m not willing to accept compromises, especially with a car at this level.

On this project, I worked with Dmitry, the manager handling my order. We discussed everything in detail, and he told me that LARTE was just launching production of the facelift kit. I ended up being one of the first clients to order the full carbon package for the GLS 63 Facelift. I won’t hide it — being among the first felt great.

The project involved several stages. Along with installing the full carbon body kit, we paid special attention to protecting the vehicle. The body color remained unchanged — black stayed the foundation of the build. Both the bodywork and all carbon elements were covered with clear protective film to preserve their appearance and surface quality.

It was important to me that every step was carried out carefully and in the right order. That’s exactly what I received. Everything was planned in advance, and each stage was properly controlled.

I personally brought the car to the LARTE studio in Düsseldorf for installation. The final result completely transformed the GLS 63. It looks more aggressive, more monolithic, more expensive, and unmistakably sporty, despite its size. The carbon highlights the vehicle’s architecture, adds visual weight, and strengthens its overall presence.

I value it when the outcome fully matches expectations. That’s exactly what happened with this project. That’s why I continue working with LARTE Design and I’m confident this won’t be the last car we build together. Sometimes the best proof of quality isn’t just the excitement of a purchase, but the desire to come back again.
