My name is Leon, I’m from Austria. I’m in my early thirties, part of a generation that doesn’t wait for the “right moment.” If you like something — you do it now. I bought this Mercedes-AMG GLS consciously: powerful, technological, imposing. But I’ve never been a fan of cars in stock form. I’ve been into tuning for years, and when I ordered the car, I already knew — my GLS would be different.

I wrapped the body in matte silver. That alone changed the perception of the car — sharper, colder, more premium. After that, I started researching styling options from different tuning ateliers to find the configuration that would truly fit my vision.

Why LARTE

I spent quite some time looking for a company capable of producing the entire kit in matte carbon fiber. I wanted the texture to be deep and clean — but not glossy.

I contacted LARTE Design directly. The project was handled by Dmitry. From the start, I clearly explained what car I had, what result I expected, and asked whether a full matte carbon version was possible instead of the standard finish. We discussed several configurations, and Dmitry shared real-life examples of completed projects.

After a couple of weeks of consideration, we finalized the full matte carbon package:

– front splitter

– front bumper inserts

– mirror caps

– rear diffuser

– matte carbon hood

– and the highlight — exclusive 23-inch LARTE wheels

I specifically asked for large wheels. The GLS is a big car, and it needs scale. The 23-inch setup gave it exactly the right stance.

Matte carbon against the matte silver body looks stunning. No shine, no unnecessary contrast — just texture and volume. The hood completely transforms the front end. The GLS looks wider, heavier, more serious. At the rear, the diffuser adds a sharper edge. The car no longer feels like just a large SUV — it looks like a premium performance project.

The Process

The deal moved quickly. Production and logistics were clearly organized. Installation was seamless — every part fitted precisely. For me, that was essential. If you’re building a premium project, it should look as if it was designed that way from the factory.
