It’s surprising how one detail can change the whole car

My name is Oliver, and I’m from Birmingham. This spring, I picked up my new Porsche Cayenne Coupe S in Light Oak Green Metallic. The car felt perfect — in performance, in design, in build quality. But after a couple of weeks, TikTok started showing me tuned versions of my model. And I realized that I, too, wanted something of my own — a touch of individuality. Not a radical transformation, not a full styling kit — I’m only just getting into tuning. I simply wanted one subtle accent that would highlight the shape and character of the car without unnecessary aggression, while still helping me stand out.

I discovered LARTE on Instagram through their Cayenne projects — they looked fantastic, almost like official Porsche sport packages. I sent a quick request, and a manager reached out to me. We discussed the idea of starting small, without jumping into a full kit immediately.

Manager Alex suggested the perfect solution for what I was looking for: a gloss-black front overlay. A clean, subtle accent that enhances the front view, adds visual width, and makes the silhouette sportier without forcing the look.

To be honest, I was nervous — this was my first time changing anything on the exterior of my Porsche. But the process was much easier than I expected. I was shown examples of how the overlay would look specifically with my Light Oak Green color. Then I received renders and short videos of the same part being test-fitted on another Cayenne.

The front now feels slightly wider visually, and the whole car has a more confident presence — but still without unnecessary aggression. Exactly what I wanted.

A colleague in the parking lot asked: “Did you change something on the car? Something’s different, but I can’t tell what…”. That made me smile — it’s precisely the effect I was going for. A light touch of individuality — nothing more. And for my first step into the world of tuning, this was exactly the experience I needed.
