Inspiration & Heritage

The LARTE Design team in Turin turned to one of the brightest chapters in Porsche history: Al Holbert’s 1974 Carrera RSR 3.0. Its blue-and-yellow livery with number 14 became a symbol of the American Trans-Am series. We didn’t replicate the look — we reinterpreted the spirit: racing character, translated into a contemporary urban aesthetic.

This energy lives on in sculpted forms and refined aerodynamics. A quiet strength when standing still, unmistakable charisma in motion.

“Timeless motorsport DNA, re-sculpted for today. In the Porsche 911 992.2 (2025) project, we searched for stylistic solutions that would highlight the performance and timeless design of the 911 — in both form and function — without disrupting its spirit and legacy. Inspiration came from Porsche’s victories at Le Mans and the Sonderwunsch program. Ideas were developed both in digital models and in full-scale clay sculptures.”

Where Form Begins: Turin

All first sketches appear in our Turin studio, where Italian sensitivity to proportion meets German precision. Under the leadership of Brano Mauks (Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta, Ferrari Sergio, Pininfarina heritage), the team refines every line — from pencil strokes and clay modeling to CAD models and flawless A-class surfaces.

Here lies the difference between “good” and “truly unforgettable.”

Where Quality is Made: Germany

Production takes place in Germany — at the same facilities that manufacture carbon parts for Porsche, Bugatti, and other premium marques. Every part is engineered by LARTE’s own engineers and constructors, tailored to OEM mounting points. Structural logic must be perfect — this is our principle.

- Materials: 100% pre-preg carbon fiber or basalt composite; finishes include exposed matte or gloss carbon, or body-color paint.
- Technologies: autoclave curing and vacuum infusion — the same as in motorsport and aerospace.
- Surfaces: A-class finish — depth of reflection, crisp edges, paint-ready clarity.
- Certification: TÜV — the highest level of quality and safety.

Even the most complex geometries envisioned by designers find their engineering solutions in production. This is where emotional form meets engineering logic.
